Overview
Wizzard Media (WZE)
is the
industry's leading podcasting network, the Company announced that it
recorded an unprecedented 1.4 billion podcast download requests in 2009.
Wizzard Media, through its premier podcast-hosting service Libsyn, received
an average of 3.77 million requests for podcast episodes per day in 2009. On
average, 23 minutes per episode equates to almost 1.5 million hours of
programming distributed worldwide every day.
Wizzard provides publishing and distribution services
to podcasters as well as monetization services.
Podcasts are a means for independent and
professional content creators to publish audio and video shows for the world
to enjoy over the Internet or on mp3 players, such as the Apple iPod, iPhone and the Microsoft
Zune. Podcasting is a relatively new
phenomenon, but Wizzard Media collectively broadcasts millions of podcast
downloads per day through media aggregators like Apple's iTunes and
Microsoft's Zune Marketplace.
WZE also provides software products and
services for speech recognition and text-to-speech technology in addition to
having a healthcare division. It
operates in a total of three segments Software, Healthcare, and Media Services.
The
Software segment engages in the development, sale, and service of custom and
packaged computer software products. The Media Services segment provides
podcast hosting, content management tools, and advertising services. The Healthcare segment provides home healthcare and
healthcare staffing services in Wyoming and Montana.
The audience for the podcasts Wizzard Media Network distributes for its
publisher's has grown from 4M in 2006 to over 18M unique audience members
monthly, and approximately 50M annually. The audiences for
podcasts continues to grow substantially and most third party analysts
project continued audience growth for some time to come.
WZE recently added Ford as a sponsor
for shows on the Wizzard Media Network ranging
from technology to music to reach consumers and tech aficionados.

Announced that it recorded
an unprecedented 1.4 billion podcast download requests in 2009.

Wizzard broadcasts approximately 4 million podcast downloads each day, 365
days a year.

Announced the launch of 22 new iPhone Apps available for sale in the App
store, including an App for the very popular Tiki Bar TV. This brings
the total number of Apps on the Wizzard Media Network to 153, with more
being uploaded weekly. The price of the new Apps range from $1.99 to
$3.99 each.

Wizzard Network having now
converted approximately 22% of their audience from free, to paid, in the
first 150 days since launch.

Wizzard released a road map
to expand its App offering beyond iTunes to the Google Android and Palm
WebOS platforms starting in the first quarter of 2010.

WZE recently announced the launch of an advertising initiative with Ford
promoting Ford SYNC, the communications system that allows seamless
integration of media players and cell phones into a car’s audio
system.

Analysts project the App
market to be a $1.0 billion market today, headed for $4.0 billion by
2012. With the new Apple Tablet expected soon and the recent launch of
the iPhone in China, Wizzard’s management believes the number of
people using iPhones and iPod Touch type devices to consume podcasts and
interact with Apps will continue to grow well beyond the current 50
million user-base.

WZE ran millions of advertisements across their
network.during the holiday season promoting automobiles, satellite
television, professional sports teams, DVD rentals, audio books,
mortgage lenders and online trading companies, in addition to highly
targeted marketing of its newly acquired iPhone Apps.

Announced that QDT network, featuring anchor show Grammar Girl
and other popular actionable advice podcasts, has launched its first
iPhone App. QDT is using Wizzard Media’s proprietary, integrated
publishing solution to produce iPhone Apps for the QDT network of
podcast shows.

The Grammar Girl Podcast is produced and hosted by Mignon Fogarty. In
addition to be being a New York Times best-selling author, Mignon
Fogarty has also been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show and has won
numerous awards for her podcast series. The Grammar Girl Podcast is one
of the most popular podcasts of all time and for over three years has
consistently been a top 100 podcast in iTunes, currently ranked 1st
in Education and #56 of all podcasts in iTunes.

Wyoming and Billings, Montana, has been serving its community for fifteen
years and is part of the fast growing home health segment of the healthcare
industry. Wizzard Healthcare is the largest home healthcare agency in its
geographic market and is one of the 300 home health agencies that comprise
Interim Health Care, the largest home healthcare franchise in the United
States.

Spencer - Chairman of the Board,
CEO, President
Mr. Spencer has served as the CEO and president of
Wizzard Software since its founding in 1996. He is responsible for the
overall direction of the company and was selected as one of the top 20 most
influential individuals in the speech recognition industry by Speech
Technology Magazine. His business experience is widely varied, including the
founding and CEO roles with ChinaWire, Inc. and Lotto USA, Inc. He also was
involved in the founding, acquisition of financing, operation and ultimate
sale of John Valiant, Inc. Spencer sits on the Board of Directors of Cennoid
Technologies, a software company that develops encryption and compression
software for the Internet. He attended West Virginia University.
John
Busshaus - Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Wizzard, Mr. Busshaus acted as an
independent business consultant, guiding organizations through the
implementation of Sarbanes Oxley, assisting with the filing of SEC reports
and taking companies through an IPO. Mr. Busshaus previously served as the
Chief Financial Officer of Talanga International, where he assisted in daily
operations of the company, in addition to leading accounting and finance
efforts. He also worked for Mellon Financial Institution as Controller and
Vice President, where his responsibilities included annual and strategic
planning within Global Security Services.
Laurie Sims - President
of Wizzard Media
Twenty years of experience in the areas of software
and emerging technology. Roles ranging from hands-on implementation to
Executive Management experience in operation, marketing and sales support
and product development. Career focus has been with dynamic organizations
transforming hardware, software, and technology into marketable products and
services. Prior to joining Wizzard Media, Laurie worked for the
Deparment of Defense, Westinghouse and local start-ups including FORE
Systems, BroadStreet Communications and TimeSys Corporation. Laurie received
her BS in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell Univeristy and her MS from
Tepper, Carnegie Mellon University.
Bruce Phifer - General
Manager - Technology & Services Division
Prior to joining Wizzard, Mr. Phifer spent the last 30
years with IBM acting in a variety of management positions in emerging
business areas. From 1983 to 1991, Phifer managed Service, Market Research,
and Planning while on the headquarters staff that shaped IBM's Personal
Computer strategies. From 1994 to 2003, he held business development and OEM
sales positions in the speech recognition and pervasive computing business
areas. He has been the recipient of many IBM formal awards for excellence
and sales performance. Phifer attended Drexel Institute of technology in
Philadelphia and is a graduate of Electronics Training Center in New Jersey.
